Hey again!
It's Taylor.♥
Everyone in my class have to make a poem or rap about Perimeter or Area. I choose to do both! So, here it is. . .

To find the Area,
You multiply. . .
You think you've got it,
But check it twice!
Then comes perimeter,
And he's alright,
You have to add em' together...
And you've got it all right.

Do you like it? I think it's okay. Anyways...I've gotta go. byee.

Hello, Today in class we did alittle bit on the smartboard and then worked on
3 practice pages at the back of our text books. The pages were on perimeter
and area. Area and perimeter are not so different from another.

Area is having two sides, Length and Width. Once you got there cm, or mm, or
m, or km, you mulitpy them together and you've gotten your answer for area.

Perimeter is have all sides of the shape, and add them all together. Area and
Perimeter arin't really that hard.(Well, at least I find it that way)

The way I always remember there differences is that area you have to mulipy
and Perimeter, you have to add. I hope this can help you remembering them!

Hello. It's Taylor again,

So..today in class was just like last class, In other words yesterday's class.
To me it's pretty simple. All you have to do is..

Have a traingle, then messure base x height. For the base, you messure the
very bottom of the traingle. For height, you messure a line straight down the
middle. Write both of those numbers down and mulipty them together. Once
you got that answer, divide it by two. Once you got you answer to that, you've
got your answer to the question!

Hello everyone. It's me again!

Ohkay, So today in class Mrs. Badger taught us more about perimeter. But this class was easier, than other classes. She taught us adding or mulipying to get the perimeter! On the smartboard, we could messure with the ruler. It's pretty great!

After Mrs.Badger was done teaching our class the lesson, we got to go on the laptops and type out what we did today in class on our Math Computer Journals! We also had to go on our class blog and download a math page on smartnote book. Because we all have it at home.

Hello, Today in class we did one more math question, it was: The perimeter of a triangle is 16cm. What is the missing measurement? I really didn't understand this question untill I asked Ashliegh. So..First I found out the other side of the traingle, witch is 7cm. Then you do this : 7cm + 4.1cm + 5cm =16cm. So there you have your answer!

Today we did questions on the smartboard with Mrs.Badger. She had a hole slideshow and we just had to copy down the questions, and then answer them at home. One of the questions we had was: Which method do you prefer? And there where 3 methods that these kids wrote. I chose Diane's because I find it easier and faster. Heres what Diane wrote: P=(2 x Length) + (2 x width) 46= 2 (16 width).

Hello, This post is about math and what my class has been doing. This term we are learning about patterning. I find it easy.(sometimes) When I don't understand it, I get someone to explain it, I understand fast! I like patterning. It is very interesting. I want to learn more and more about it. So that it becomes easier and easier for me. I like this online journal, its just like a dairy, but I telling you about my math and how I feel about it. In the future, I would like to have lots of people read my math journal. I will try to write about math lots! I hope to do very good on my math patterning test, when we finish the unit. For the last few math tests I haven't done to well! So anyways. . .
Thank for reading!
